TARPON SPRINGS - Police are asking the public for help finding a suspect in a Saturday burglary at a check-cashing business on U.S. 19.

Detectives think the man was involved in a two-person burglary at Advance America in the Tarpon Square shopping center. The suspect is a white male in his late 20s or early 30s, about 6 feet tall, weighing 230 pounds with a stocky build. He has dirty blond hair in a buzz cut and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black or dark blue T-shirt with white lettering on the front.

The second suspect is thought to be a white male with a heavy build. No additional details are known about him. The two used a early 1990s-model grey Ford Explorer. Both men are possible suspects in similar burglaries to Advance America businesses in Tampa, Bradenton and Kenneth City. Anyone with information should call police Detective Robert Faugno at (727) 938-2849.
