TAMPA - A 55-year-old Alabama man was killed Tuesday when he crashed his vehicle into a tree south of Plant City.
Charles Oliver was driving east on State Road 60 around 12:25 p.m. in his Mazda Millenia when the car left the paved portion of the road, entered the south shoulder and then the front yard of 2419 SR 60, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Oliver hit two small trees or bushes, a fence, then a large tree, the FHP said. He died at the scene.
