Authorities in Texas this week captured and arrested a 44-year-old man suspected in two recent Hillsborough County bank robberies, Hillsborough sheriff's officials announced Thursday.

James Ronald Lloyd was arrested Wednesday in Henderson County, Texas. Hillsborough detectives charged him with committing the Sept. 3 robbery of Colonial Bank, 1707 S Parsons Ave. in Seffner, and the Aug. 27 robbery of Valrico State Bank, 1815 E State Road 60 in Valrico.

Lloyd has not yet been transported to Hillsborough County, according to jail records. State criminal records show Lloyd, who goes by several aliases, has been arrested 14 times since 1978 on charges including cocaine possession and distribution, battery, robbery and violating probation.
