HAPPY BIRTHDAY MO: Clearwater Marine Aquarium, 249 Windward Passage, celebrates the 41st birthday of loggerhead turtle Mo, the aquarium's first resident, during Pinellas County Appreciation Days. Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nicholas, the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin calf rescued in 2002, will be officially welcomed into the main dolphin pool. UNCORKED: 13th Annual Dunedin Wines the Blues, Saturday, 5 p.m to 11 p.m., downtown Main Street district, rain date Sunday. Features more than 60 wines and beers, food from local restaurants, and arts and crafts. Blues lineup includes Rose Bilal, Nitro and the Tampa Bay Blues Machine, Dwight Champagne with Jerry Kenny, Ed Lanier's Blues Review with Johnny Love, Sarasota Slim and Rick Lollar. Sponsored by the Downtown Dunedin Merchants Association.

BEAR HUG: The Unbearable Bears teddy bear picnic takes place Saturday, 11 a.m., Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. Part of the Children's Theatre Series, cost is $6.50 for a single reservation, $20 for a family four-pack. Bring a favorite teddy bear for sing-alongs, clap-alongs and a festival of favorite songs. EXHIBIT: A special collection of quilts by the West Pasco Quilters Guild is on display through Saturday at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. The quilts include the prize winners from the Guild's 2004 show. Exhibit hours are Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday noon to 2 p.m. Admission is free.

SOUL FOOD: Books With a Soul goes through Oct. 17 at the Dunedin Fine Art Center Meta B. Brown Gallery, 1143 Michigan Blvd. Faculty member Sally Robertshaw and current and former students exhibit handmade books.

NEW DIGS: Artist's Way Gallery has reopened as "Artists' Way Cooperative" at J. Harrison Smith Fine Art Gallery and Studios, 1356 S Fort Harrison Ave. New members show including mixed media paintings by Lee Canalizo and fiber art by Marlene Glickman runs now through Nov. 28. Opening reception is scheduled for Oct. 1, 6 to 9 p.m.

ON STAGE: Eight O'Clock Theatre presents Neil Simon's Barefoot in the Park through Sunday at the Largo Cultural Center, 105 Central Park Drive. Curtain goes up at 8 tonight and Saturday with a Sunday matinee at 2 p.m. For information and tickets, call (727) 587-6793.
