PAT DUAX is headliner tonight at the Giggles Comedy Club at Angel Cabaret Theatre, 5201 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. Nick Constanzo is a featured performer. GHOSTRIDERS, A SOUTHERN ROCK BAND, will perform at 9:30 tonight at Bourbon Street Concert Club, 4431 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. The band is releasing its latest CD. Doors open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door.

"STEPPIN' OUT,' A TRIBUTE TO IRVING BERLIN, continues through Oct. 10 at the Angel Cabaret Theatre, 5201 U.S. 19, New Port Richey. Shows are at 8 p.m. Saturdays, 6 p.m. Sundays and 1:30 p.m. some Wednesdays and Saturdays. Doors open two hours before each show for dinner and cash wine and beer bar. SINGERS DAVID WEEKLEY and Donna Delaney will perform at 7 p.m. Monday at the Jewish Community Center of West Pasco., 9841 Scenic Drive, Port Richey. Admission is $4.

THE PAUL ANTHONY BAND will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Sunset Beach Concert Series presented by the Tarpon Springs Recreation Department and Friends of Music on the Beach. The refreshment stand will sell hot dogs, soda and water. No alcoholic beverages or pets are allowed. Bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating.

"MYTHS OF THE ANCIENT AMERICAS,' a series of paintings by Aurora M. Heuple based on the ancient Aztec and Mayans, continues through Oct. 29 at the Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. A reception and gallery talk by the artist will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 1 at the center. Viewing hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

TWENTY-ONE ARTISTS FROM THE PASCO ARTS CENTER and West Pasco Art Guild are exhibiting their work in the lobby of the Pasco Government Center, 7530 Little Road, New Port Richey, through Thursday.

FIFTY-SEVEN SMALL QUILTS are on exhibit at the Tarpon Springs Cultural Center, 101 S Pinellas Ave. (Alt. 19), Tarpon Springs through Saturday. The quilts were made by the West Pasco Quilter's Guild and have a variety of designs. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and noon to 4 p.m Saturday.

COLOR PENCIL ARTIST Melissa Miller Nece and wood turner Ray Cannata are exhibiting through Wednesday at the Greater New Port Richey Main Street and Progress Energy Art Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. The exhibit will be open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays.

CHASCO CAMERA CLUB'S PHOTO EXHIBITION continues through Thursday in the Upstairs Gallery at Pasco Arts Center, 5744 Moog Road, Holiday. One-of-a-kind decorative art (tiles, umbrella stands, etc.) by Leonard Lewis is in the Artisan Gallery. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays.

CONTEMPORARY GEOMETRIC WORKS by French artist Auguste Herbin and others are at Leepa-Rattner Museum of Art, 600 Klosterman Road (2 blocks west of U.S. 19), Tarpon Springs, through Oct. 24. Admission to the museum is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and free to children and students with ID. Sundays are free to all. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, 5 to 9 p.m. Thursdays and 1 to 5 p.m. Sundays.

AUDITIONS AND WORKSHOPS

STAGE WEST COMMUNITY PLAYHOUSE will hold auditions for You Can't Take It With You, a comedy, at 7 p.m. Oct. 1 and 2 p.m. Oct. 2 at the theater, 8390 Forest Oaks Blvd., Spring Hill. Be prepared to cold read from a script. Roles are for seven women and 13 men ages 20 to 70. Production dates are weekends Jan. 13-30. A VIDEO OF "GISELLE' BY THE KIROV BALLET will be shown at 1:30 p.m. Oct. 2 at Leepa-Rattner Museum, 600 Klosterman Road, Tarpon Springs (one-half mile west of U.S. 19). Admission free.

HOLLYWOOD PREMIERE, an evening of silent films; dance numbers from the musical Chicago by Expressions, the dance company; archival photos; hors d'oeuvres and wine will be held from 7 to 11 p.m. on Oct. 2 at Richey Suncoast Theatre, 6237 Grand Blvd., and at Progress Energy Art Gallery, 6231 Grand Blvd., New Port Richey. Tickets are $35. Call (727) 842-8066. Profits will go to the downtown mural project.

"OUR MODERN WORLD,' a play about Paris between the world wars and focusing on the life of Bettina Bedwell Rattner, first wife of artist Abraham Rattner, will be presented at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 in the museum auditorium. Playing Mrs. Rattner is Nan Colton. Admission is $10.

"LET THE STORIES MOVE YOU,' a theatrical presentation by women telling their life stories in music and monologue, will be given at 7 p.m. Oct. 4 at the Pasco-Hernando Community College Performing Arts Center, 10230 Ridge Road, New Port Richey. Admission is free. Following the performance, the audience may join a candlelight vigil for victims of domestic violence.
