GAINESVILLE - The kickoff for today's game against Kentucky is 11:30 a.m., Florida announced Friday. It was scheduled for 6 p.m., but Hurricane Jeanne prompted the change. ESPN2 will televise it. Athletic director Jeremy Foley said Florida and SEC officials made their decision based on Friday's information about the hurricane's projected path. The Gators' Sept.4 opener against Middle Tennessee was postponed until Oct.16 because of Hurricane Frances. And because that hurricane caused so much damage statewide, Florida officials moved the Sept.11 game against Eastern Michigan from 6 p.m. to 1. Florida Atlantic and Florida International postponed today's home games, and Bethune-Cookman moved its start to 1 p.m.
