KESWICK 24, LAKE PLACID 14: Michael Young scored four times to help Keswick earn its first win. Young caught two touchdown passes from Blake Engelhardt and returned a fumble recovery 27 yards to put Keswick ahead going into the third. A 50-yard field goal by Young late in the third helped the Crusaders seal the win.
CALVARY CHR. 47, EASTLAND CHR. 0: Calvary Christian struck for 20 points in the first half to earn its second win. Quarterback David Penn threw four touchdown passes and for 150 yards and rushed five times for 101 yards. Lee Van Voorhis scored one of his two touchdowns in the first to put Calvary Christian ahead early. Just Mueller also caught two touchdown passes. Nick Jones rushed three time for 63 yards and scored one touchdown.
LAKELAND EVANGEL CHR. 36, CC CATHOLIC 15: Austin Davis rushed for a career high 264 yards and four touchdowns to help the second-ranked, Class A Evangel Christian trounce Clearwater Central Catholic in front of 500 fans. Clearwater Central Catholic cut the lead to 22-15 with 6:05 left in the game, but an 80-yard Charger drive sealed the win. Paul Raven scored on a 5-yard run for the Marauders in the first half.
SP CATHOLIC 49, LAKE HIGHLAND PREP 23:Billy Tapp completed 13-of-14 passes for four touchdowns in St. Petersburg Catholic's win over Lake Highland Prep. Ryan Batty was the recipient of seven passes for 100 yards, and Andrew Harris had 140 receiving yards with a touchdown. Joey Yanchunis ran a 35-yard fumble recovery back for a touchdown in the second quarter. Yanchunis also made five tackles for a loss.
LAKELAND SANTA FE CATHOLIC 14, ADMIRAL FARRAGUT 0: Santa Fe Catholic running back Mark Barrios scored on a 6-yard run to put the Crimson Hawks ahead. Admiral Farragut appeared to take control of the game early on the first drive, when Tai Clark and Bernard Scott broke off runs of 20 and 29 yards respectively. The Blue Jackets were without starting quarterback Kraig Brown, which along with the strong defense of Santa Fe, may have accounted for the struggles on offense. Admiral Farragut was held to 142 yards on offense.
