EMERGENCIES: Call 911.

STORM QUESTIONS: The county has activated its citizen information lines. Call 746-5470, 527-2106 and 746-6555 with storm-related questions.

SCHOOLS: Citrus schools are closed today. For information about Tuesday, call 726-1931 or 637-2233. Central Florida Community College also will be closed today.

TV and RADIO: County officials encourage residents to monitor local broadcast media outlets such as BayNews 9, WYKE-Ch. 16, WLMS-FM 88.3, WXCV-FM 95.3 (Citrus 95), WKTK-FM 98.5, WIFL-FM 104.3, WMFQ-FM 92.9, WRZN-AM 720 and WOGK-FM 93.7.

UTILITIES: Don't call 911 or the county information lines to report power outages.

CURFEW: A curfew was put into effect between 8 p.m. Sunday and 6 a.m. today.

WATER, ICE, FOOD: The county plans to open distribution sites some time today once the weather permits. Once open, the sites are scheduled to remain in operation until 7 p.m. Water, ice and ready-to-eat meals have been ordered and are scheduled to be available at these locations:

Citrus County Chronicle building, 1624 N Meadowcrest Blvd., Crystal River

Moose Lodge #2308, 11890 N U.S. 41, Citrus Springs

Beverly Hills Fire Department, 4 Regina Blvd., Beverly Hills

BOIL WATER: The Citrus County Health Department advises residents whose private wells have been covered with standing water to boil their water before use, to disinfect it, or to use bottled water. To disinfect water, add one-eighth of a teaspoon of plain, unscented household bleach per gallon of water and then let it stand for 30 minutes. If the water is cloudy after 30 minutes, repeat the procedure.

CITRUS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: Patients scheduled to have procedures today should call their doctor's office to confirm. Hospital employees are expected to work their normally scheduled shifts.

OTHER CLOSINGS: There will be no court today. The courthouse will be closed, including county government offices. Non-essential county employees need not report for work today. The Key Training Center's adult day training services for today are cancelled.
