Pasco Sheriff's Deputy Andy Izrailov, 31, was traveling west on Trouble Creek Road when he saw a line snap on the right and worm its way through the air until it grabbed his spotlight, cracked his windshield and ripped his driver's side mirror from his car. A mechanic since age 16, Izrailov was more concerned about what it might do to his new cruiser. "I value my car so much -- I know what it takes to fix it.'' Being a safety officer, he does have advice for civilians based on his experience: "When it's really windy and really bad weather, stay inside.''
