Storm's effects leave chamber office closed

BROOKSVILLE - The Hernando County Chamber of Commerce's administrative office was left without electricity or telephone service by Jeanne and is closed as a result.

The chamber can be reached through the information office, 4044 Commercial Way, Spring Hill, at 686-5097.

In addition, the 2004 Pirate Party Beach Bash, scheduled for Friday, has been rescheduled for Nov. 5. The event is planned for 5 to 11 p.m. at Buccaneer Bay at Commercial Way and Cortez Boulevard, Weeki Wachee.

Tickets are $12. The event is open to chamber members only. For information, call Kellie at 796-0697, ext. 15.
