KARAOKE COMPETITION: The Brooksville Senior FFA will have its second annual karaoke contest at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Hernando High School Performing Arts Center. There will be school age and open categories. Registration for participants is $10 and will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Trophies will be awarded to top three places in each category. SPAGHETTI DINNER: Papa Joe's Restaurant, 6244 Spring Lake Highway, east of Brooksville, will have its annual fundraiser festival from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. The event will feature an all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner for 99 cents, plus children's games, entertainment and horse and buggy rides. BRONCS AND BARBECUE: The Hernando County Cattlemen's Association will have its 27th annual Hernando Rodeo and Barbecue Festival, Oct. 8-10, at the Hernando County Airport. The event will feature nationally sanctioned professional rodeo performances, music and entertainment, midway rides, western dancing, crafts and food.
