EAGLE, Colo. - The woman who accused Kobe Bryant of rape told investigators he ignored her entreaties to stop and said there was no doubt he heard her, according to documents released Friday.
That is among the previously unreleased details of the woman's interview with Eagle County sheriff's investigators the day after the incident at a Vail-area resort last summer.
The rape charge against Bryant was dismissed last month at the woman's request.
The then-19-year-old said she and Bryant kissed for several minutes in his room before he became aggressive and began groping her.
"At that point I was just kind of scared and I said "No' a few times," she told the detectives.
Investigator Doug Winters then asked how she knew Bryant heard her.
"Because every time I said "No' he tightened his hold around me," she replied.
Stojakovic reports despite trade request
SACRAMENTO, Calif. - Peja Stojakovic still wants the Kings to trade him, but the league's second-leading scorer last season reported to camp as scheduled.
"I'm still standing behind the words I said in August, but I am professional," said Stojakovic, who averaged 24.2 points and 6.3 rebounds last season. "I have a contract with the Kings, two years, and I'm going to honor that.
"It just wouldn't be fair for the city, the organization and for my teammates, who I respect."
General manager Geoff Petrie wasn't available for comment.
Also, Sacramento signed guard Courtney Alexander to a one-year deal. The 13th overall pick in 2000 averaged 7.9 points with New Orleans last season.
CAVALIERS: Lucious Harris signed and is expected to back up shooting guard Eric Snow and point guard Jeff McInnis. Terms were not disclosed. Harris averaged 6.9 points for the Nets last season.
GRIZZLIES: Forward Pau Gasol agreed to terms on a six-year extension. The 2002 rookie of the year led Memphis last season with 17.7 points and 7.7 rebounds per game.
KNICKS: President Isiah Thomas said he still is trying to trade guard Shandon Anderson. He is owed $24-million for the next three seasons but hasn't averaged more than 8.7 points during the past four. Anderson declined to participate in any of the team's offseason conditioning or community service programs.
LAKERS: Karl Malone told the team he's not ready to play but won't rule out returning this season. The the second-leading scorer in history, 41, had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee in June and is a free agent.
RODMAN TO MEXICO: Former rebounding champion Dennis Rodman agreed to play two games with Monterrey's Fuerza Regia next week. Rodman, who hasn't played in the NBA since 1999-00, said he wants to return.
CONN. 61, NEW YORK 51: Nykesha Sales scored 13 of her 15 during the first half for the visiting Sun in Game 1 of the best-of-three East final. Game 2 is Sunday in Connecticut.
The Sun used a 23-5 run, including 13-0 during a three-minute stretch, to build a 16-point first-half lead. The Liberty cut it to 41-37 midway through the second half, but the Sun's ensuing 12-4 run sealed it.
