Marty Slade and his team on Slade Em won the 21st annual Charlie Rice Memorial Fishing Tournament Saturday at Treasure Island. Slade also caught a speckled trout, the third target species, but was beaten by David Metheney, who weighed a 1.92-pound trout. In the offshore division for grouper, mangrove snapper and amberjack, Double D won all three master angler awards. Dennis Cline took honors with a 43.44-pound amberjack and a 14.24-pound gag grouper, and he won $288. Rhonda Morris won the women's master with a 9.20-pound gag grouper and a 5.52 mangrove snapper.
