JACKSONVILLE - A man was charged with beating his estranged wife to death with a golf club, police said.

Su Il Oh, of Mandarin, was arrested and charged Friday with murder, Jacksonville police said. He was being held without bail Sunday at the Duval County jail.

His wife, Sun Kim, 35, was reported missing Sept. 27 when she didn't report for work.

Witnesses said Kim was last seen Monday night when she left to meet her estranged husband.

Detectives found her body and a broken golf club in a trash bin behind a Mandarin apartment building.

Kim worked at a cleaners and as a waiter to support her two daughters, ages 12 and 17.

Mandarin is 12 miles south of Jacksonville.
