College-bound students and their parents take heed.

Next week Pasco-Hernando Community College is hosting two College/Career Nights at its east and west campuses.

So, maybe you're not planning on community college? Doesn't matter.

In addition to PHCC, representatives from the University of Florida, Florida State University, University of South Florida, University of Central Florida, Saint Leo University, Florida Southern College and Florida Atlantic University also will be on hand.

Thinking of going out-of-state?

Well, they've got that covered, too.

The folks from Auburn University, Ohio State University, University of Mississippi, and University of North Carolina also will be in attendance, as well as representatives from the military.

There will be plenty of information on admission, financial aid, and programs for postsecondary study.

High school students, their parents, and prospective students of all ages are encouraged to attend. College Night is free and open to the public.

College/Career Night will be held from 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Dade City Campus, 36727 Blanton Road, and from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 13 at the New Port Richey campus, 10230, Ridge Road.

For information, call Michelle Balon, assistant dean of student services at the west campus, (727) 816-3205; or Michael Cook, assistant dean of student services at the east campus, (352) 518-1309.
