HUDSON - The Pasco Sheriff's Office is investigating a report of a man's attempt to abduct a woman who works as an exotic dancer at The Players Club.

The 35-year-old woman was using a pay phone at the 7-Eleven on U.S. 19 near County Line Road about 6 a.m. Wednesday, sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said.

The woman told deputies a gold-colored SUV pulled up and a man inside reached out the window, grabbed her shirt and pulled her against the SUV. She did not recognize the man.

"You are all sluts," she said the man told her. "Get in the car."

But the woman broke loose and ran inside the 7-Eleven, where a clerk called 911. The woman described her assailant as a bald white man with gold, wire-framed glasses.

Anyone with information on this incident was asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 1-800-706-2488.
