WEDNESDAY: Apple Computer Inc. and Harley-Davidson Inc. among those reporting earnings.

THURSDAY: Bank of America Corp., Citigroup Inc., Fifth Third Bancorp, General Motors Corp., Southwest Airlines Co., Sun Microsystems and UnitedHealth Group Inc. release earnings; Tampa Downtown Partnership holds a Vision Plan Community Forum at Tampa Preparatory School; Commerce Department reports international trade for August.

FRIDAY: Labor Department reports producer price index for September; Commerce Department reports retail sales for September; Federal Reserve reports industrial production for September; Commerce Department reports business inventories for August; Wachovia Corp. releases earnings.
