I heard you were on TV at the Miami-Louisville game talking about your old teams. Did you get to tell everyone about your new team, too?
No, but (the announcers) did. Quite a bit. It's a lot better that way, isn't it?
How about in South Florida? Are you getting a lot of publicity?
This year I think we finally caught up with the (East) Boynton Beach Bears. You know who they are? They're the team that lost (to Japan) in the (2003) Little League World Series final.
You're not in I-A, but you're not eligible for the I-AA playoffs this year either. What are you playing for?
Our goal is to win the mythical Sun Belt championship. You know ADT, which sponsors the NCAA championship series? They give out those (Waterford) crystal footballs. I've asked them if they would design and have ready to present to us a cut plastic football for the mythical Sun Belt championship.
