Wesley Chapel quarterback Anthony Rawson will not play Friday against Gulf and could be out for the season with a stress fracture, coach John Castelamare said Tuesday.
Rawson, a senior, had been bothered the past three weeks by what the team believed to be shin splints. The problem continued to worsen, so Rawson had an MRI on Monday that revealed the fracture.
Junior Chad Hatfield likely will start against Gulf, with sophomore Brian Koesling playing behind him.
