DUNEDIN - Caladesi Island State Park will hold its annual coastal cleanup at 10 a.m. Saturday. The park is only accessible by private watercraft, so volunteers are requested to meet at the marina. The event is sponsored by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and is part of Take Pride in Florida, a statewide effort to maintain public lands and encourage service. Gov. Jeb Bush introduced the program last week, challenging volunteers to put in 10 hours of service to help with the hurricane cleanup on public lands.
