The Florida Orchestra calls this weekend's parks program "Music Around the World," with works ranging from a Louis Armstrong tribute to a Shostakovich ballet suite, The Godfather theme to Turina's Danzas Fantasticas. Associate conductor Susan Haig will be on the podium for two concerts, Friday at Tampa's Plant Park and Saturday at St. Petersburg's Vinoy Park, where there will also be fireworks. The music starts at 7 p.m. The picnic menu is up to you. Free.
