LUTZ - A motorist waiting at a U.S. 41 intersection told the Pasco County Sheriff's Office someone apparently shot out the back window of his pickup Thursday.

Deputies said the driver reported hearing what sounded like a shot from a small caliber weapon about 4:40 p.m. at the intersection of U.S. 41 and County Line Road and then saw his rear window shatter.

Investigators examined the truck and found no evidence of a bullet.
