ST. PETERSBURG - Coast Guard boats and aircraft searched Saturday for two men who hadn't returned from a fishing trip on their 21-foot boat.
Rodney Post, 36, and Jay French, 42, were expected back from their trip Friday afternoon.
A family member called the Coast Guard, prompting a search for the men. They were fishing in the Gulf of Mexico about 15 miles off Clearwater Pass in the Daddy's Girl, officials said.
Rescue boats, a helicopter, a jet and a C-130 airplane searched throughout the day Saturday, and crews were to continue looking for the men overnight into today, a Coast Guard news release said.
