Chamber presents annual awards

LARGO - The Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce presented several awards during its recent 52nd annual banquet at the Sheraton Sand Key.

Mike Bollenback of the accounting firm Bollenback and Forret, received the Citizen of the Year honor for community service. Bollenback is a past chairman of the chamber and is president of Leadership Pinellas. Art Shand of the architectural firm of Aude, Shand & Williams was awarded the Mac Norcross Small Business Person of the Year Award for his active involvement with the chamber while overseeing his own business. Shand was 2003 chamber chairman. Joe Falanga of Pak Mail at Largo Mall was installed as the chamber's chairman of the board.
