East Lake High School's third annual Fall Festival will be Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the high school, 1300 Silver Eagle Drive. There will be arts and crafts, music, food and carnival games. Admission is free and the event is open to the public. For more information, call 773-0500.

Palm Harbor University High School's Thespian Troupe 5590 will perform Lillian Hellman's The Children's Hour at 7 p.m. Oct. 28 and 29. Tickets are available at the school's box office 30 minutes before the play begins. General admission is $7, senior citizens $5.

Countryside High School's Thespian Troupe 900 presents the musical Smile at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 11, and 12. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance or at the box office the night of the performances. For more information, call (727) 725-7956 ext. 163.

Lake St. George Elementary, 2855 County Road 95, Palm Harbor, will host its 15th annual Veterans Day parade and celebration at 9:15 a.m. Nov. 11. For more information, call Marsha Bergreen at (727) 669-1161.

Achievers

Richard Joseph Pipe , son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Pipe Jr. of Palm Harbor, has been selected to receive the Presidential Scholarship at Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C. Pipe attends Clearwater Central Catholic High School where he is on the honor roll and basketball team. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Key Club, and Student Government Association.
