CURLEW HILLS MEMORY GARDENS: The 17th annual Veterans Day service at 10:30 a.m. at Curlew Hills, 1750 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor. The featured speaker will be State Rep. Gus Bilirakis, master of ceremonies will be retired Rear Adm. William Schwob, U.S. Coast Guard. Retired Col. Jerry F. Custin, U.S. Army Reserves, will speak on the history of Veterans Day. Mrs. Florida, Kori Hendricks Ralston, will perform the national anthem, and Sandy Keith will perform a bagpipe lament. Call 789-2000.

HIGHLAND LAKES: A Veterans Day ceremony at the Highland Lake clubhouse, 3300 MacGregor Drive, Palm Harbor, at 10:15 a.m. The ceremony will include a presentation of the colors by the Marine Corps Reserve Center Color Guard and a concert by the Liberty Fife and Drum Corps. LARGO CENTRAL PARK: A Veterans Day event will be at Largo Central Park Military Court of Honor in Largo Central Park, 101 Central Park Drive, at 7 p.m. The ceremony will include a keynote speaker, presentation of colors, music and more. The program features "The Last Patrol" by the Suncoast Vietnam Veterans of Pinellas County. Veterans from all wars and conflicts are invited, along with family and friends. The event is offered by the City of Largo and the Pinellas County Veterans Liaison Council. Call 587-6775.

DUNEDIN: The city will have a Veterans Day ceremony at Dunedin High School, 1651 Pinehurst Road at 8:30 a.m.

SAFETY HARBOR: The city will have a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at Veterans Park near the marina.

OLDSMAR: The city will have a Veterans Day ceremony at 3 p.m. at the veterans memorial wall outside City Hall, 100 State St. W. The program includes city officials and featured speaker retired U.S. Air Force Col. Jerry Custin. The former master navigator with an electronic warfare specialty is a business assistance specialist with the Upper Tampa Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce. The Oldsmar Christian School Ensemble, directed by Wendy Smith, will sing. Call (813) 749-1115.
