Got a minute? Leroy Smith, CB FSU

Published November 11, 2004

What's in your CD player right now?

Usually TI, a rapper from Atlanta. Maybe I'll throw some Tupac in there.

Is there anything special you listen to before a game?

If we're playing a team like Miami, I have to calm down because I'm too pumped up, so I might throw in some mellow music like Anthony Hamilton.

Other than SportsCenter, do you watch much TV?

I like comedy, so I watch Comic View (on BET). I also have these DVDs, Jamie Foxx's standup comedy show, I Might Need Security, or Martin Lawrence's You So Crazy.

What's the last movie you saw?

Alien vs. Predator.

Was it any good?

I liked it. I love action-packed movies.

Without giving away the ending for those of us waiting for the DVD, who were you pulling for in the movie?

The Predator.

Okay, we've got to ask. What did you do to draw that unsportsmanlike penalty after the interception against Duke?

I gave the ref the football and I waved at my mama and then I nodded a little bit. I was going to run to the sideline, but the referee stopped me and threw a flag. He said, "That was enough." I guess he was doing his job.
