LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Stefan LeFors threw three touchdowns and No. 12 Louisville rolled to a 55-28 victory over TCU on Wednesday night.

LeFors, completing 75 percent of his passes coming into the game, was 13-for-21 for 275 yards as the Cardinals' top-ranked offense totaled 587 yards.

J.R. Russell and Broderick Clark caught two touchdowns each for the Cardinals (7-1, 5-0 C-USA), who beat the Horned Frogs for the first time in four meetings since 2001.

Louisville topped 50 points for the fourth time this season.

LeFors became the sixth Louisville quarterback to go over 5,000 career passing yards.

OHIO STATE: Athletic administrators have contacted the NCAA regarding the recent allegations made by former Buckeyes tailback Maurice Clarett against its program.

But OSU administrator Heather Lyke said the lack of "factual information," might make a trip to Columbus unnecessary for NCAA officials.

"I don't anticipate they will come at this time," Lyke said.

It is NCAA policy not to discuss pending or ongoing cases.

In an ESPN The Magazine story released Tuesday, Clarett accused Jim Tressel and his staff of arranging improper benefits for the suspended running back and other Buckeyes players. Tressel and university administrators have denied the claims.

ACC SCHEDULE: Next season the conference will have two six-team divisions - Atlantic (Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Maryland, North Carolina State and Wake Forest) and Coastal (Duke, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina, Virginia and Virginia Tech).

Teams will play all five opponents in their division, plus one primary crossover opponent every year and two rotating opponents from the opposite division.

Division champs meet in the championship game scheduled to be held at Alltel Stadium in Jacksonville on Dec. 3, 2005.
