FSU Women

COACH: Sue Semrau (92-110, eighth season).

LAST SEASON: 15-15, 7-9 (fifth) in ACC.

NOTABLE: The Seminoles were the lone league team to beat Duke last season and one of just four overall (Texas, Tennessee and Minnesota in the region final). But that was hardly enough to earn an NCAA Tournament bid. They settled for the WNIT for a second straight season, where they lost to Richmond in the second round. Semrau will look for improvement despite the loss of leading scorer Tasheika Allen to graduation, all-ACC rookie Shante Williams (sitting out this season for personal reasons) three top post players (Genesis Choice, Lauren Bradley and Trinetta Moore) and the death of promising sophomore Ronalda Pierce. Said Semrau: "Most of you would look at that we have one returning starter, we lost most of our post game and say, "Wow. That looks rough.' But as a coach, what you do is you look at the things you have and what we can do with what we have."

TICKETS: Season tickets are $52 for adults, $26 for youths (18 and under) and seniors (50 and over). Single-game tickets are $5 and $3. For details, call toll-free 1-888-378-6653.
