Blue and Joe

Blue, the loveable puppy from the Nickelodeon series Blue's Clues, is back with a new stage show, this time celebrating her birthday. (She's not telling how old she is.)

Like previous versions, this one finds Blue on an adventure with her friends Magenta, Periwinkle, Mr. Salt and Mrs. Pepper and her clueless human sidekick Joe, played by Jacob Kramer. There will be an abundance of singing, dancing and Handy Dandy Notebooks.

We can't vouch for this incarnation, but a previous version of Blue's Clues Live that played the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center was charming for grownups as well as preschoolers.

The shows are at 7 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m., 2 and 5 p.m. Sat. and 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday at the center, 1010 N MacInnes Place, Tampa. $12.50-$26.50. 813 229-7827 or toll-free 1-800-955-1045; or www.tbpac.org
