Roll call

HAIL, THE MIGHTY FAVRE: The Packers' Brett Favre will start his 200th consecutive game Monday against the Rams, most in history by a quarterback. With a touchdown, he will record his 11th consecutive season with 20 and pass former Dolphins QB Dan Marino for the record.

LOVE FOR THE OTHER MANNING: Giants rookie quarterback Eli Manning left good impressions even after a 14-10 loss to the Falcons in his debut. "He's got that calmness, you can tell," Falcons linebacker Keith Brooking said. "He had some bad plays, but he stayed right in there. And I was 10 feet from him when he was sitting in that huddle, and I saw the look in his eyes. He didn't have that wide-eyed look, like he didn't know what the hell was coming his way. He was calm the whole way, and that says a lot about the kid."

SPANDEX, COACH: Rotund Eagles coach Andy Reid may want to head to the store for a comfortable pair of tights. In preseason, Reid made a deal with Terrell Owens that he would wear Owens' practice tights if the receiver got 15 touchdowns. Owens has 13 with six games to go. "Put it in the book," Owens said. "I think it'll be a treat for everyone else, but we'll have to see how Andy holds up to his end of the bet."
