Marine Lance Cpl. Mike Jernigan jokes with family at the Snell Isle home of his mother Tracey Willes. Beside him is his wife Rebekah. Mike was severely injured in Iraq in August when an explosive device detonated in front of him. He lost both eyes, suffered damage to his brain, his right hand and his left knee.
