Chocolate Cins

4 1-ounce semisweet chocolate squares
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar

Melt chocolate squares on low in a saucepan. Remove from heat.
Use fork to blend brown sugar and oil in large mixing bowl. Add egg and beat well with fork. Stir in vanilla. Add flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon, if using. Stir in melted chocolate and mix in nuts. Chill dough for at least 1 hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls into confectioners’ sugar. Roll to coat dough. Place 2 inches apart on nonstick cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool on wire racks.
