Top 5 movies

1. Kinsey - Liam Neeson plays the scientist who jumpstarted the sexual revolution, in a film as uninhibited about its subject as was his research. One of 2004's best films.

2. A Very Long Engagement - Audrey Tautou reunites with her Amelie director Jean Pierre Jeunet for a sweeping romance/mystery set during World War II.

3. Sideways - Two buddies (Paul Giamatti, Thomas Haden Church) spend a week in California wine country sorting through the wreckage of their lives. Funnier and more fascinating than that sounds. One of the 2004's best films.

4. The Phantom of the Opera - A sumptuous production delivers Andrew Lloyd Webber's music to the big screen in all its glorious schmaltz. St. Petersburg's Patrick Wilson plays the swashbuckling Raoul.

5. Meet the Fockers - Lowbrow comedy is trumped by high-octane casting (Barbra Streisand, Dustin Hoffman, Robert De Niro), a crude but funny sequel to Meet the Parents.
