LOCATION: 115 S Arrawana Ave., one block south of Kennedy Boulevard.
DEVELOPER: Arrawana LLC.
DESCRIPTION: Three buildings, each three stories high with two townhomes. Three townhomes will have 2,000 square feet; the others, 2,300 square feet. All will have three bedrooms, 31/2 bathrooms, and two-car garages.
PRICE: $350,000 to $399,000.
AMENITIES: Arrawana LLC vice president David Vazquez said he plans to live in one of the townhomes and wanted a high degree of energy efficiency. So features will include extra insulation in the walls, double paned and double glazed windows, and appliances with high energy efficiency ratings. Hardwood floors and staircases, second floor balconies, stainless steel kitchen appliances surrounded by granite counter tops, Jacuzzi-equipped master baths, 10-foot ceilings, and custom crown molding and trim round out the features.
WHAT THEY'RE SAYING: "South Tampa is the high-end townhouse spot to be in," Vazquez said as to why he chose that particular spot in the Parkview neighborhood. "There's less and less land available the more south of Kennedy you go."
TIMELINE: A wall on the property line was built four months ago. Townhome construction begins Feb. 1 and should last four to six months.
