Men: Cardinals edge Bearcats

CINCINNATI - Taquan Dean scored 25 on Saturday, leading No.19 Louisville's comeback from a 17-point first-half deficit for a 69-66 victory over No.18 Cincinnati.
"I knew my teammates would step it up eventually," said Dean, who made 7 of 13 3-pointers. Juan Palacios' tip-in put Louisville ahead 67-65 with 1:07 left. Jason Maxiell made one of his two free throws with 45 seconds left for Cincinnati, which led 10-0 and 25-8.
Louisville then ran down the shot clock, and Francisco Garcia passed out of a double team to Larry O'Bannon, who sneaked unguarded under the basket for the layup with 11 seconds left. After a timeout, Jihad Muhammad's long 3-pointer smacked off the backboard.
TCU 61, MEMPHIS 59: Corey Santee's running 3-pointer with .2 seconds left lifted the visiting Horned Frogs. Nile Murry's three-point play with 1:21 left put TCU, which led 44-32, up 58-56 with 1:21 left. Duane Erwin tied it with a 15-footer, and Memphis' Anthony Rice missed a 3-pointer with seven seconds left. Santee took the inbound pass, dashed upcourt for the winner. HOUSTON 63, SO. MISS 53: Brian Latham scored 19 and Andre Owens added 18 to lead the host Cougars. Owens, who had four 3s, set the school record for career 3-pointers with 184.
CHARLOTTE 65, SAINT LOUIS 59: Curtis Withers scored all 13 of his points during the second half for the host 49ers. Up 60-58, Withers scored on an offensive rebound, drew a foul and made the free throw with 13.7 seconds left.
UAB 76, EAST CAROLINA 64: Marvett McDonald scored 17 and made 4 of 5 3-pointers for the visiting Blazers.
DePAUL 81, TULANE 63: Quemont Greer, who had 24 points and 10 rebounds, made two free throws and a fastbreak basket during a 6-0 run to put the visiting Blue Demons up 54-40 5:46 into the second half.
