Cultivate a bloomin' garden

Proficient gardeners and those who dream of having green thumbs will find lots of inspiration this weekend at the second annual Tampa Bay Flower Show, this year at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.

The stars, besides the foliage and blooms, are celebrity gardeners such as "Mr. Green Thumb" Stan DeFreitas (2 p.m. today, noon Friday, 4 p.m. Saturday) and horticulturists from Walt Disney World, Busch Gardens, Sunken Gardens, Florida Botanical Gardens and many more.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. today and Friday., 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $10 for adults, $6 ages 6 to 12. 727 596-1204; www.flowershow.com
