Three Seminole teachers have been included among 15 finalists for the Pinellas County Education Foundation's Outstanding Educator program.

Nancy Tondreault, a fourth-grade teacher at Bauder Elementary, and Seminole High School science teacher Jonathan Marina and drama teacher Nancy Sears-Topper were among more than 90 teachers nominated throughout the county.

They were judged on their commitment to improvement of the profession, creativity and innovation, their ability to inspire students to perform at higher levels, their commitment to children and families, and how well they serve as ambassadors for the teaching profession.

They were interviewed and visited in their classrooms. The winner will be recognized at an awards ceremony in February.
