TUESDAY TOAST OF TAMPA SHOW CHORUS: Women interested in joining the Toast of Tampa Show Chorus are invited to Membership Night at 7 p.m. The championship barbershop chorus will meet at the Masque Theater, 8825 N 56th St., in Temple Terrace. FINANCIAL PLANNER CERTIFICATE PROGRAM: The USF Professional Workforce Development is offering a series of free information seminars for its Financial Planner Certificate Program. CLASSES

HIP-HOP: The Rhythm Kidz will teach hip-hop classes at several area Hillsborough County Recreation Centers beginning Jan. 31 through April 29. The exercise program is open to boys and girls of all ages and skill levels. Learn Hip-Hop choreography to today's most popular songs. The program is sponsored by the Hillsborough County Parks, Recreation and Conservation Department. PREMARITAL PREPARATION: Tampa Jewish Family Services offers Premarital Preparation classes for couples in Hillsborough County. The four one-hour classes are in compliance with the requirements of the state of Florida statutes. Classes, taught by Vick Woodham, will cover areas including unrealistic expectations, unaccepted differences, unresolved past issues, unforgiven hurts, effective communication, conflict resolution skills, financial and parenting issues, and how to build a spiritual commitment together. Upon completing the four classes, couples receive a valid certificate qualifying them for a marriage license fee reduction of $32.50. Also, the three-day waiting period between the date of the marriage license application and the marriage date is waived. The course is $100. ART CLASSES: Tim Gibbons of Funky as a Monkey Art Studio will teach the following art classes Monday and Jan. 31: Big and Little, a hands-on art class for ages 2 to 5 with an adult, from 11 to 11:45 a.m.; Cartooning I for ages 7 to 12 from 4 to 5 p.m.; and Space Art I for ages 7 to 12 from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. The cost is $40 per class; all materials are provided. BINGO, DANCE SOCIAL AND BREAKFAST: American Legion Post 147, 17413 Gunn Highway, Odessa, sponsors weekly bingo at 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and 7 p.m. Fridays. Also, a Singles and Couples Dance Social is at 7 p.m. Sundays. Musical entertainment is provided by DJ Marsal and the Short Notice Band (on an alternating weekly basis). FLEA MARKET FUNDRAISER: The Lutz-Land O'Lakes Woman's Club is accepting donations from the public for its annual Flea Market fundraiser scheduled for March 4, 5 and 12. Dishes, clothing, knickknacks, small appliances and more that are clean, usable and in working condition are needed. The event will be at the old Lutz School, 18818 U.S. 41. SPRING BOUTIQUE AND LUNCHEON: Tickets are on sale for the 11th annual Spring Boutique and Luncheon sponsored by the GFWC Temple Terrace Woman's Club. The event is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 18 at the Dr. Blaise F. Alfano Conference and Banquet Center, 11606 N McKinley Drive (40th Street). The boutique will feature vendors selling unique clothing, jewelry, collectibles, cosmetics, toys, gourmet treats and more. Local merchants will provide door prizes to be given away. "HUNGER GUIDE' ONLINE: The Hunger Resource Guide, which identifies agencies and organizations that provide food and services to needy families in Hillsborough County, is available online. The guide includes a national list of Web sites in local infrastructure, economic and job security, federal nutrition, food recovery and donations, community food production and marketing, education, and research. More than 40 local agencies are listed, representing Plant City, Ruskin, Seffner, Brandon, Riverview, Wimauma and Temple Terrace. BIG BROTHERS: At least 200 married couples or male volunteers are needed at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay to work with boys. BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP: Tampa Jewish Family Services offers a weekly grief-bereavement support group meeting. The group meets from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. Tuesdays at 13009 Community Campus Drive. USED BOOKS, VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Friends of the Lutz Branch Library, 101 Lutz-Lake Fern Road, has opened a used bookstore, the Book Depot. Donated books may be dropped off at the library in boxes or bags marked "Friends of the Library." BOOKS FOR TROOPS: Friends of the Library of Hillsborough is accepting paperback books for its Books for Troops project. Bags or boxes may be dropped off at any Tampa-Hillsborough County library branch and should be marked "Books for Troops donation." Donations will be shipped to troops overseas. Names of family members who would like to get books may be e-mailed to booksfortroops@hotmail.com include your name, relationship to military members, their names and APO address. The Charitable Foundation of Holland and Knight, which sends toiletries and other personal items to troops in the Middle East, will ship the books. Call 813 273-3616.

CAR GIVEAWAY: Low-income families may be eligible to receive free used cars through Citrus Cars, sponsored by the Community Action Agency Program. Depending on income and driving record, families may be eligible for a car from one of Hillsborough County's neighborhood service centers, including the Town 'N Country Neighborhood Center, 6726 N Hanley Road. THE TAMPA CONNECTION: The board of directors is accepting applications from business leaders for its 20th annual Leadership Program.
