Bay area mayors to speak at luncheon

Three mayors from bay area cities will participate in a panel discussion about regional issues Thursday at the second annual "Meet the Mayors" luncheon.

Tampa Mayor Pam Iorio, St. Petersburg Mayor Rick Baker and Clearwater Mayor Frank Hibbard are expected to comment on such topics as the arts, growth, development, jobs, redevelopment, water supply, transportation and infrastructure funding.

Rhea Law will moderate the event, sponsored by area commercial real estate groups, at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg.

The cost is $35 per person, with reservations due by Tuesday. Call (813) 885-4641 for more details.
