ARCHITECTURE
Nicole Brickley has been named manager of human resources for GLE Associates Inc., Tampa. Brickley was director of human resources and payroll for Logomark Inc., Irvine, Calif.
CONSTRUCTION
Sam Ellison has been awarded the International Business Person of the Year Award by the Tampa Bay Women in International Trade. The Award recognized Ellison's achievements in international business, contributions to the advancement of international relations in Tampa Bay, and dedication to the community. Ellison is managing director of the BECK Group and president of BECK Internacional, Tampa.
DeBartolo Development, Tampa, announces these appointments: Steve Mordue and Erin Nellis, development managers. Mordue was the owner of Mordue and Associates, Tampa; and Nellis was a senior project manager for Cypress Equities in Dallas.
Kathy Pichowski has been named design coordinator for the condominium community Bellamy on Bayshore for JMC Communities, Tampa. Pichowski owned a design company, Pichowski Interiors Inc., Tampa.

Dorinda Hall Roberts has been named a project manger in the retail and distribution division of Carter & Burgess, Tampa. Roberts was manager of architectural services for Eckerd Corp., Largo.
Carol E. Scheafnocker has been elected vice president of public affairs for the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. Scheafnocker is an associate and senior marketing representative for TLC Engineering and Architecture, Tampa.
HEALTH CARE
Dr. Mendee B. Ligon has been appointed to a second term on the board of trustees of Meharry Medical College in Nashville. Ligon will continue to serve as chairwoman of the student affairs committee and serves as president-elect of the alumni association. Ligon has a dental practice in St. Petersburg.

Carolyn Rivers has been named director of business management for the law firm of Kass, Shuler, Solomon, Spector, Foyle & Singer, Tampa. Rivers was a client relations manager for Mason Law PL, Clearwater.
Brian C. Sparks has been named a shareholder in the Tampa law firm of Hill, Ward & Henderson PA. Sparks will be chairman of the firm's estate planning and administration group and previously was head of the private client group at Akerman, Senterfitt, Tampa.
MARKETING
Gary Read has been named regional vice president of Tranzon Driggers, St. Petersburg. Read was fixture and equipment purchasing manager for Eckerd Corp., Largo.

The Gateway Chamber of Commerce has elected Tom Wagner president and Scott Neal president-elect. Re-elected were Linda Fiechtner, secretary, and Nick Patel, treasurer. New members on the board of directors are Jinnie Kerdi and Robin Sexton. Re-elected board members are Suzanne Chesser, Rick Farneski, Dale W. Hutchings and Dianne Ray. Wagner is president of Affinity Direct Cremation Service, Brandon; Neal is president and lead engineer for Neal Computer Technologies, Tarpon Springs; Fiechtner is leasing and office manager for the Airport Business Center, Clearwater; Patel is branch manager of Colonial Bank's East Bay Drive branch in Largo; Kerdi is community relations coordinator for Goodwill Industries-Suncoast Inc., St. Petersburg; Sexton is president of Advertising Images, Clearwater; Chesser is manager of AAA Travel's Gateway Branch, St. Petersburg; Farneski is president of the Stanleigh Group, Clearwater; Hutchings is owner of Dale W. Diane Weingart has been named vice president of affiliate marketing for HSN Inc., St. Petersburg. Weingart was regional manager of new business development for Adelphia Cable - Florida Region in Riviera Beach.
