WHEN/WHERE: 7:30; RBC Center, Raleigh, N.C.
RADIO: 1470-AM.
RECORDS: FSU 10-9, 2-4 ACC; N.C. State 12-6, 2-3.
COACHES: FSU - Leonard Hamilton (43-38, third season; 243-248 overall); N.C. State - Herb Sendek (160-114, ninth season; 223-140).
NOTABLE: The Seminoles look to rebound from the worst loss of the Hamilton era, 88-56 to visiting Duke. ... The Seminoles have lost 26 straight road league games, closing in on a dubious ACC record (30 set by Clemson). They've lost 12 straight to the Wolfpack. Said Hamilton: "I think they've been better than Florida State most of the time." ... The Wolfpack is coming off a 85-69 win at Maryland but is still plagued by illness and injury. Point guard Tony Bethel missed four games with colitis, lost 15-20 pounds and played only two minutes against the Terrapins on Sunday. Guard Cameron Bennerman, who became a starter and was averaging 10.3 points, sprained an elbow last week in practice and could be out 1-6 weeks. ... N.C. State leads the series 22-14 overall.
