Ocean Jewel back in business

ST. PETERSBURG - The Ocean Jewel gambling ship was back at sea Thursday, two days after being docked for fire and safety infractions.

Crew members worked through the night Wednesday to make sure the ship complied with Coast Guard regulations, said Howard Steffes, president of Titan Cruise Lines, owners of the Jewel.

"It all happened quickly and was resolved quickly," he said. "If this company finds out there's something wrong, we're working on it right then and there."
