Boogeyman One man is scared of the dark in Boogeyman, but will the audience be? A horror film whose synopsis sounds like 2003's Darkness Falls, Boogeyman follows a young man -- still traumatized by terrifying memories from childhood of an entity that may not be imaginary -- who returns to his old home to face his fears. Barry Watson (TV's 7th Heaven ), Emily Deschanel (Spider-Man 2 ), Skye McCole Bartusiak (Riding in Cars With Boys , The Patriot ) and Lucy Lawless (TV's Xena: Warrior Princess ) star for director Stephen T. Kay (the remake of Get Carter ).
The Wedding Date Debra Messing goes from small-screen romantic woes to big-screen romantic woes in The Wedding Date. The female half of TV's Will & Grace plays a shy, single New Yorker summoned to England for her half-sister's wedding. Determined not to suffer the humiliation of attending alone, she drains her savings and pays a professional male escort (Dermot Mulroney) $6,000 to be her date and pretend to be in love with her. Trouble comes when her escort proves so charming that she starts falling for him. Holland Taylor, Amy Adams (Catch Me If You Can ), Peter Egan (Chariots of Fire ) and Jack Davenport (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl ) also star for director Clare Kilner (How To Deal ).
