The country's attorneys general have put together a $27 million ad campaign that features a hairy monster called Esuvee for driving safety, and it's geared toward men. What's next, Gov. Jeb Bush humming a few bars of Schoolhouse Rock's I'm Just a Bill as he tries to push legislation through? The talking heads feel guys who are 20-39 (in other words, the common denominator) won't listen to reason, so they're using a furry puppet as a metaphor for spewing safety stats on SUV rollovers. Are we on Sesame Street ? Before we raise our hands to ask permission to go to the bathroom, we'd like to know who thought up this insulting dog and pony show? Jim Henson productions?
