McMullen Booth to close 12 hours Sunday for pedestrian overpass work

CLEARWATER - McMullen Booth Road will be closed between State Road 590 and Drew Street in both directions from 4 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday to finish installation of the pedestrian overpass. The bridge rebar and concrete will be installed during this closure. U.S. 19 should be used as an alternate route. Traffic heading to Ruth Eckerd Hall will be allowed on McMullen Booth. The pedestrian overpass is part of the Clearwater East-West trail system that will connect Safety Harbor Trail to Clearwater Beach and the Pinellas Trail system. For more information, call 462-6988.
