CORAL GABLES - Miami's Will Frisby was excited about shooting free throws with the game on the line.
Frisby made two of them with 0.8 seconds left in overtime to lift Miami past No. 22 Maryland 75-73 on Saturday.
"I wasn't really nervous," Frisby said. "I was more like happy thinking, "Wow, I'm going to win this game for us.' "
It was the first win in three games for Miami, which led nearly the entire way but had to rally at the end of regulation and in the final second of overtime.
Guillermo Diaz scored 27 points to pace the Hurricanes.
Maryland has consecutive losses after wins over Duke and Georgia Tech.
Miami led 67-65 with 3.9 seconds left when Travis Garrison of the Terrapins hit two free throws, forcing overtime.
NO. 4 DUKE 82, NO. 25 GEORGIA TECH 65: J.J. Redick scored 26 and Shelden Williams had 15 points and 12 rebounds in a game whose biggest drama came when Mike Krzyzewski collapsed in the first half, giving the crowd a scare on the court that bears his name.
Krzyzewski, 57, suddenly fell to the floor at Coach K Court after what he said was a dizzy spell 81/2 minutes into the game. He was down for several seconds before bouncing up and returning to the huddle. He never lost consciousness and coached the rest of the game.
"Over my 30 years in coaching, it's happened a number of times," Krzyzewski said. "Normally, you just get up like that, you have your feet under you and it's okay."
At the time, the Blue Devils led 15-12, and a dunk by Georgia Tech's Isma'il Muhammad later cut the lead to one. Redick started a run of nine unanswered points with a 3-pointer, and Duke kept control throughout.
NO. 7 WAKE FOREST 83, VA. TECH 63: Taron Downey scored 18 off the bench to lead the visiting Deamon Deacons.
Downey, who plays behind star guards Chris Paul and Justin Gray, needed just 12 minutes to score 13 points in the first half. He got in the game as Gray sat out with foul trouble.
Downey hit a 3-pointer in the second half to start a 14-0 run that put the game out of reach.
Jamon Gordon led the Hokies with 20 points.
VIRGINIA 64, N.C. STATE 62: Sean Singletary rebounded his own miss and scored with 2.2 seconds left to lift the visiting Cavaliers.
Singletary had 11 points, including two key baskets late. The Cavaliers squandered a 14-point lead midway through the second half but still held on for their first win in Raleigh since 1997.
With the score tied at 62 in the final seconds, Singletary drove into the lane and missed a runner. But the 6-foot guard grabbed the loose ball and made a layup.
