DETROIT - A day after agreeing to a deal with the Tigers reported to be worth $75-million over five years, Magglio Ordonez let his old team have it.

Ordonez passed a physical Sunday and will be introduced as a new Tiger today. On his way out of Chicago, where he played seven full seasons for the White Sox, he talked about a falling out with general manager Ken Williams over a knee injury.

"Kenny was burying me, saying my knee was not okay," the outfielder said. "It feels good to have an owner and a general manager who treat you like this."

In the book, scheduled for publication this month, Canseco says McGwire introduced Jason Giambi to steroids and that Canseco injected three top players, including Ivan Rodriguez , with performance-enhancing drugs.
