WHEN/WHERE: 7; Sun Dome, Tampa.
TV/RADIO: 570-AM, 910-AM. RECORDS: USF 10-10, 3-6 Conference USA; Saint Louis 5-16, 3-6.
COACHES: USF - Robert McCullum (17-30, second season, 61-75 overall); Saint Louis - Brad Soderberg (40-43, third season, 171-116 overall). NOTABLE: If the Bulls can extend their win streak to three, they would all but lock up a spot in the C-USA tournament and hold the head-to-head tiebreaker against the four teams below them. Among the 14 teams, the top 12 qualify. ... Saint Louis leads the all-time series 7-3, but USF has won the past two in Tampa. ... The Billikens, first in C-USA in scoring defense (59.4 points per game) and last in scoring offense (53.6), will try to slow the game down and is paced by senior guard Reggie Bryant (13.3 points per game). Saint Louis has players from 10 states plus Greece and Israel. ... The Bulls' recent success has been sparked by scoring balance with four players in double figures at Southern Miss and five against Tulane. Against a defensive team such as Saint Louis, it's crucial that additional threats emerge to take the pressure off forward Terrence Leather (18.4 points) and point guard Brian Swift (15.6). Freshman guard Collin Dennis has moved into the starting lineup and is averaging 17.5 points and 32 minutes in the past two games. After hitting four or more field goals just once in his first 16 games, he has done it in the past two.
