WHEN/WHERE: 5; Thompson-Boling Arena, Knoxville.
TV/RADIO: Sun Sports; 620-AM. RECORDS: UF - 14-6, 6-3 SEC; Tennessee - 11-12, 4-6.
COACHES: UF - Billy Donovan (183-89, ninth season; 218-110 overall), Tennessee - Buzz Peterson (58-54, fourth season; 162-104).
NOTEABLE: Tennessee has handed Florida its only home conference loss. Florida needs to avenge that today to remain in sole possession of second place in the SEC East. ... Florida is coming off what Donovan termed "a moral victory," a three-point loss at Kentucky, and the Vols lost to No. 17 Alabama 72-54. ... Today's game is Florida's third on the road in its past four. ... The Gators haven't won at Thompson-Boling since 2002. ... "Tennessee-Florida is always a good rivalry in any sport," Donovan said. "They are a team coming off a loss like we are, so I'm sure they'll be anxious and ready to play against us. It'll be a great matchup and there's a lot of things we'll have to do to get ourselves ready to play."
